STAR CITY at last! It is my first time to visit here. I know I know I just live in Cavite and it is super accessible via bus, uvexpress, jeep, minibus what have you and yet I can't seem to find the time to visit... but finally here I am as wide eyed as a 7 year old kid impatient to see and try everything! (ok maybe not everything the Star Flyer umm...next lifetime maybe) :D
What I first noticed when I walked in is that (to my surprise) Star City is air conditioned pala! From the gate where we paid our tickets there is a tiangge we passed through before we took the escalator to get to where some of the indoor rides are. Mostly, these are the rides for kids, they have Road Race, Mini Pirate Ship, Frosty Train, Kiddie Bumper Car, Kiddie Wheel, Tea Cup, Ball Pool, Rodeo, Quack Quack and Little Tykes. On the top floor they have The Bumper Car Rave (bumper cars for adults), Bumper Boat, and Blizzard among others.
The second thing I noticed is that although the place looks old, I can see that the rides looks well maintained, the place is well lighted, everywhere you turn you can see a trash can, and you will not find it hard to look for a restroom. 5 stars for being clean!
Outside, you can see the rides for the older "kids at heart" The Star Frisbee is under maintenance when we were there but there are a lot of other rides you can try. You have the Star Flyer, Jungle Splash, Surf Dance. Rides in Star City Annex includes Tornado, Music Express.
My favorites are the Carousel and the Ferris Wheel. All in all I think we tried around 10 rides. RAYC ticket is totally worth it. I would like to try more rides (Viking and Surf Dance) if not for my son who dreads the thought me being swung that high up in the air. hehe sweet boy.
So, I bought the ride all you can promo. 450 Php for all the rides. They also offer senior citizen discount, my mama got her RAYC ticket for 20% off the regular price :)

I think the tickets were totally worth it. My 6 year old son got his fill of the Bump Car, the Train Ride in the magic forest and the Ball Pool. He wanted to ride the Bumper Boat but they only allow bigger kids around 10 year olds.

How to get to star city:
1. go to MOA, get a cab and for a fare of around 60-65 Php you can reach Star City.
2. board a bus going to Lawton get off on Hotel Jen (formerly Traders Hotel) and walk straight toward CCP. continue to walk til you see Star City.
Special comments:
-I am so used to some locations forbidding the bringing food into their facilities, I thought Star City was one of them, but I was wrong. We bought our own water and biscuits and we went in without any problem.
-If you are going to Star City, get ready for a lot of walking standing and falling in line thus it might be a good idea to bring some snacks, water and comfy shoes.
Finally, we finished our lakwatsa with a mass (another surprise!) at the first floor near the Carousel.
It started 8pm to 9pm.
We enjoyed our time here especially my son, :) We will definitely come back.
