Example:
"The World is your Oyster".

Ayon kay the free dictionary.com it means:
you have the ability and the freedom to do anything or go anywhere.

When used in a sentence:
The world is your oyster when you're young and healthy and free to go anywhere.

So before, and kahit naman ngayon, ang technique ko para ma consume ko ang buong 30 minutes with minimal material ay ang mga sumusunod:

A. Introduction - 5-10 minutes:
Ano ang mga pwedeng itanong sa intro:
  • What is your English name?😊 (Kasi kung iaattempt mo na i-pronounce ang totoong names nila baka either ma mispronounce mo pa at mainis sila or mag consume ka ng another 15-20 minutes bago ka magtagumpay. So mas convenient na may English name. Sa mga Koreans, naexperience ko napaka common ng Lee, Jacky, Bill, Bob ito yung mga paborito nilang gawing alias. Sa mga Chinese mas interesting: Luna, Moon, Wind, Able, basta kakaiba. You can use it to your advantage kasi karamihan sa kanila hindi alam kung anong ibig sabihin nung name na pinili nila. Like yung si Luna, I told her na Luna is another name for Moon. So sa name pa lang, pede nang gawing topic of conversation.
  • Also one of my favorites lalo na sa mga Chinese na generally ayaw pa-kabog ang aking "Wow you look tired! How's your day?" Mas mapapahaba ang kwentuhan nito in the attempts to show you na walang problema sa work nila kahit na overworked sila haha!💪Anyway mejo routinary na din yung 'How are you?' 'Fine, and you?' 'I'm Fine too!' 👻👻👻 -insert awkward moments of silence here- 👹 So if ayaw mo naman gamitin yung "you look tired" pede din naman "Hey! you look happy today! What's new with you?" or "There is something different with you today I can't quite put my finger on" - pa mysterious na, pede mo pa i-segue sa idiom na: I can't quite put my finger on. oh ha. 😀✌
  • Last technique ko para mapatagal ang introduction is to introduce the lesson number, the title of the lesson and to explain the goal of the lesson at the end of this session. Staple spiel ko dyan yung "Today we will learn lesson ___, it is all about______ <1> So i need 2 things from you at the end of class 1....2.... dalian mo lang goals mo like: make your own sentence using "the world is your oyster." or explain the meaning of this idiom. So always dapat: Specific, Measurable, Attainable , Realistic and Time-bound. ☝
B. Body/Content - 10-15 minutes

Sa mga Koreans gusto nila na conversational lang talaga ang pagtuturo. Ayaw nila yung bookish. Dapat hindi nila na fefeel na teacher ka, so parang ka-sparring ka lang ng english. So as much as possible, don't be shy to get to know them. Ask about their day, their weekend, even their  boyfriends and girlfriends (benta to sa mga college students promise!)

C. End of lesson- 5-10 minutes

This is the wrap up, alam na alam yan ng mga naka pag call center na, so yung huling 5 minutes mo uubusin mo yun sa pagrecap ng mga tinuro mo sa kanya. At para naman maiwanan siya ng impression na magaling ka, ask your student a very easy question yung tipong giveaway. Like, 'could you make your own sentence using our idiom of the day: "the world is my oyster?' malamang ang gagawin nyan babaguhin lang ang mga words sa example na binigay mo sa start ng class kaya very important din na bigyan sila ng sample sentence "pain" mo yun sa kanila later. Kung magawa nilang masagot ang tanong mo you should react positively din naman. Positive reinforcements yung mga smiles, mga pagpalakpak ako favorite kong gawin is pumalakpak eh para ipakita ko na tuwang tuwa ako. After nun, mag babay ka na, so end the lesson na nasa "high" si student kasi syempre it feels good na palakpakan and yung feeling na may napala ka sa lesson mo ngaung araw.

Business English, American Slang and the likes are just variations of free talk. So ang importante lang yung goal mo malinaw sa kanila para naman ma feel nila na, ah iba naman ito, iba nanaman ang approach nya hindi na sya kuda ng kuda ngaun tanong na lang sya ng tanong. Isa pa palang ginagawa ko para mapatagal ang time is never ako nag bibigay ng meaning ng word agad agad. I always ask them to guess. Like: "Applicable, what do you think the word means? Applicable" Eh ayaw nga pakabog so gagawan ng paraan nyan na makasagot yung pag google translate pa lang nila kakain na yun ng 1-2 minuto tapos hihiritan mo bigla ng: "Wow! goodjob! I'm impressed. Please use it in a sentence..." Pak! another 1-2 minutes nanaman yun so yun. Anyway, explorative approach din naman yun sa learning so mas maaalala nila ang meaning ng isang bagay na sila mismo ang nag research.

Maria's Edge Resort Review

Hindi nanaman ako makatulog! :) But it's a good thing dahil sa puyat minsan nangagaling ang motivation ko at oras ko to write (less sleep, more blogs ha?). Location: Maria's Edge Resort is located in Jamaica Hills Los Banos Laguna. Malapit sa UPLB at along the highway lang kaya kung gusto mo pumunta sobrang accessible kahit wala kang private vehicle.  From Alabang sakay ka lang ng pa UP college na bus like St. Rose . Then, malalaman mo pag malapi

PayMaya Review: Please Read Before Using The App or Getting The Card

I feel nervous. This is definitely a very bad feeling to get especially when we are talking about money. Sabihin ko later kung bakit, later but first, a bit of a back story: So currently, I have this sideline of teaching online ESL. The company pays me through PayPal. Ngayon, hirap talaga ako na mag encash from PayPal to BPI. Ok sana sya kasi Php50 lang ang bayad yun lang ang tagal before ko makuha ang pera. The last time, it took 2 days before nag-reflect. Not sure why. Anyway. So I saw this on YouTube: OMG! It was magic! Money was transferred literally in SECONDS from PayPal to Paymaya! I don't have to wait. I hushed the small voice inside my head that said. "Php 250 ang transfer fee nyan hoy!" In my mind, I have an option in case I have an EMERGENCY and needed to get the cash ASAP.   Boy I was wrong! Let me remind you first that my account is activated, I have the physical card, I had it activated and updated-- the works! and yet i

ACADSOC online job

I have been with ACADSOC as a part time home based teacher for exactly a month and a half today and here are my thoughts about it: How do I feel about working here? The best thing about working in Acadsoc is the flexibility. Every week I plot my desired schedule. On Mondays, for example, I advise my TM (Team Manager) that I want to take Mondays-Fridays 7pm-11pm and take Saturdays and Sundays off.  And if I want to earn extra cash, I take Weekend classes too.  The next best thing that I like about Acadsoc is that it makes a great part time job. you can do it at home with minimal tool investments: you just need a laptop and a decent headset. I use Plantronics with a noise cancelling feature.   Lastly, It is fairly easy, teaching especially free talk feels like you are being paid to listen. Just be prepared with your list of open ended questions, sitback, relax and watch out for any grammar or pronunciation errors. Recap and give a few tips. How long do you teach each
